Belysio
Geotracking is the new awesome when it comes to sharing online. Nothing says “STALK ME!” like a good Google Map API integration and status updater. Well, much like BrightKite, belysio is available for you to make sure you’re findable no matter where you are.
[From their about page] – belysio is a Poland based startup that has created an avant-garde social mapping service that changes the way people use mobile phones to stay in touch with their friends.
Features include stuff like:
- Mobile integration (for you European folk, I imagine)
- Event-based networking
- “Who’s near me” options
- Geo-journal
- Messaging, friending, browsing, oh my!
I’m going to stick with BrightKite, considering their a little closer to home, and I figure that’s important for a Geotracking social network.
