BoxCycle

Let’s face it, we’re running out of stuff. Important stuff! Things like resources and breathing room and cupcakes… Ok, not cupcakes, but when can you have enough cupcakes? So, in a time of resource conscious conservation-based consumption here we are with, BoxCylce. BoxCyle is a handy online meeting place (other wise known as a Social Network) wherein you can push your unwanted moving boxes onto some poor chap that’s about to embark on the same hellish task of moving that you just did!

Neat, huh?

I plagiarize from their About Page:

BoxCycle makes listing, buying, and selling used boxes simple and efficient while providing buyers with lower prices and sellers with higher returns. There are no upfront fees; BoxCycle only makes money after successful sales by deducting a commission before remitting proceeds to the seller.

Here’s the gist of how it works:

If you’re ditching boxes: click on “Sell”, throw down what you have, and follow the simple on-screen instructions, then wait patiently to get rid of’m.

If you’re needing boxes: click “Buy”, fork over a few bucks (seriously, like $5) and get yourself some boxes!

I’m thinking of ordering a truckload and building a massive fort that would make the industry gods happy to see me waste trees lives on structures permeable by fire and water.
