Tweader

I really do think I could review apps made for Twitter all day, and never do the same one twice. Tweader, is actually pretty handy, if you haven’t ever heard of FriendFeed. All in all, if I were the trademark police, I’d put Tweader at the top of my list of violators for brand-biting Twitter with their site design, color schema, and … are those clouds back there?

Other than that, I like it! There have been other tools that have tried (and failed miserably) at doing this same thing before, perhaps this one will stick.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Plaster in the status ID of an update from Twitter.
  2. Wait a few seconds
  3. Read the conversation

Can’t get more difficult that that, I’d say.

  • It's kind of hard to make a twitter-based service without being influenced from their design. :)

The clouds and even their failwhale were bought from external sites. :)
  • Sahil !! That's satire and in good fun - sorta the nature of my writing style. I like the site quite a bit & really hope it takes off. The Twitter-sphere has a strange adoption policy though, so we shall see in time.
