It almost seems ironic that our website and blog contain no ads at all. Ads are like rain, we don't like it but we need a little from time to time.

Additionally, people love our link click data and our Adjix2Twitter feature which lets people tweet URLs in a single click.

Also, I'm not going to worry about adding the code to any of my sites. As far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to use it, that's on them – and ultimately isn't up to me to decide whether or not adjix is used to get to me or not.

If, for some reason, it provides incentive for people to share more links because they feel that they need to be compensated for their copy/paste time? That's up to them.

We're keenly aware that some people won't like Adjix which is why we published some simple code at http://AdjixSucks.com that gives webmasters the ability to prevent anyone from “Adjxing” their website. We realize that that we can't please everyone, but we keep trying.

We learn more from comments like yours than the positive ones.

I hope you can see the logic in the horrible business model you've created, and how it can damage sites, damage reputations, and pretty much cause people to “be a magpie” to their friends, which is an utterly distasteful service in and of itself.

Yea, you struck a nerve with your horrible reasoning and spotty logic. Your service is bad and devalues the Internet, while putting value into your pocket. I congratulate you on a tool that makes you money from other people's work though, in all honesty. That kind of innovation works well, turns good profits, and has been a trick to making money on the Internet for years, but you found a way to do it differently and in a less invasive manner than say – a domain squatter, misspelled domain name squatters, mailing list sellers, and the like.

It looks like we struck a nerve with you regarding our service, Adjix. To be fair, I think we deserve a little credit. Not only can people create simple “No Ad” redirects, but we're one of the rare companies who let their viewers remove ads.
