7items

7itemsHere’s an idea. Take your Amazon.com affiliate account, build a kick ass interface, and call it a site! Who wouldn’t want to use a better shopping experience as incentive to make an affiliate boat loads of cash? There are all sorts of ways to make moolah online, but affiliate advertising is one of the most successful measures for turning other people’s product into cold hard cash for you and the seller.

Everyone wins, really.

So 7items.com, to me, is brilliant. Not only is the user experience clean and to the point, the model behind the site is excellent, and inspiring.

To use the site:

  • Search for what you want
  • Drag the items into a visual cart, Ajax powered
  • Continue shopping until you’re broke
  • Click checkout & you’re off to Amazon.com to pay up

Smooth, and brilliant. There’s room for improvement to include product descriptions and reviews, I think, but right now? If you know what you’re looking for, it’s so simplified it’s almost too easy to spend money on it.
