Trigga.me

triggameJust when you thought Ping.fm, HelloTxt and god knows whatever other “multi-site” updater applications were out there were enough for you to dabble and annoy your followers with, along comes Trigga.me, yet another avenue to update to multiple services at once! But… this one comes with Groups.

[insert "ooo's" and "aaah's" here]

I’m not all that impressed, just yet. The number of services is limited, the interface for selecting a service is a drop down box – which tells me there won’t be more than 12 services listed regardless, and if there are, I already hate it. Sorry UX people,  drop down boxes that aren’t loaded with states shouldn’t really have more than a dozen options… Got to think of a better way to handle that situation.

Personally? I’ll stick with HelloTxt, it was the first service worth keeping that spammed my readers, it’s been duplicated and “improved” by Ping.fm, of which I also have laying around just in case HelloTxt doesn’t get my message out to the masses of masses quick enough.

Trigga.me is limited with the services, but it may be right for you. The groups, I can see those becoming more handy with more services, but also – updating multiple services, if done all the time, is a sure fire way to get people to be annoyed fast. Use them sparingly. You friggin spammer!

That’s all.

Keep in mind that Ping.fm has triggers and grouping as well. I think they've had it since launch, or close by. Nice site, nonetheless. Thanks for the tip!

  • You're absolutely right! Hmmm ... I do believe that'll keep Trigga.me third in the line as far as tools for make me annoying to friends - since I actually like Ping, from what I remember. HelloTxt is still the #1 in my book.
