Gixaw Chat
Online chat is a thing. It’s always been a thing. In fact, chatting with others over the wire was the thing before blogging, e-commerce, 2.0 anything was the thing. The fact that online chat keeps getting better and better is a good thing. So this Gixaw Chat thing I came across earlier is a neat looking app.
Signing up takes about… 10 seconds. Pick a name, type in a few fields, and like magic, you have a chat room. In fact, I even gave it a whirl and I threw it in the nav up there… see it? No? Then click HERE and have a peak.

Opinion:
Not sure, the interface is a little chunky in the chat window. But all-in-all it’s a fairly inclusive service. It seems to work fairly fast and though the option is now embedded in a page here on Sociosophy, I don’t really see this feature sticking around forever and ever. But you never know. Weirder things have happened.
