Speedtile
Visual bookmarking sites are handy; and though I don’t use bookmarking sites on a regular basis, they serve their purpose, like this one time I was looking for a link I remembered I wanted to remember, and in doing so I used delicious to save it, and then I was able to refind it… Other than that – I don’t use’m.
Speedtile on the other hand, is pretty enough for me to use, at least more than once. Which says a lot for a bookmarking site in my book.
The feature set:
- Visual thumbnails of your bookmarks
- Tabbed organization
- Searchable
- Share links with others
- Share links with others via a handy URL (see?)
- Super slick and fast sign up process (props on this one)
- Micro-manage bookmarks via Drag-n-Drop
All in all, this app is filled with Ajaxy goodness, and if you’ve read my posts before, you know I love me some Ajaxy goodness. They also have a Firefox plug-in, so now, all they have to do is get in with Shareaholic, toss in RSS to allow me sharing on FriendFeed or something of the sort, and I’m sold.
