VinoVino
“Was hypnotized by a strange delight, under a lilac tree, I made wine from the lilac tree, put my heart in its recipe. It makes me see what I want to see, and be what I want to be.”
- Nina Simone
The Earth’s fascination with wine means a site about wine can do no wrong. But with as many drunk people who write websites about wine, when they are…clearly drunk…that know that, VinoVino.com knows it. Brown is always a risky color, but in this case, it makes me think of chocolatey-like wine, and that’s a decent thought to have swirling around in the brainal tubes. VinoVino works as an online wine journal. A wine journal is what wine lovers use when they tour wineries, to note any particular wine they might have encountered. You note the vintage, region it came from, how it smells and how it tastes. VinoVino is very detailed, and goes into food pairings, serving temperatures, price and where it can be found. They have a wine of the week, blog, and you can store the wines you like in your personal “cellar”.
It’s a beautiful idea wrapped in a nice package. The only con is that I wish they knew what a Site Map should be. Otherwise - I plague this post with a last quote. “Good wine is a good familiar creature if it be well used.” - Shakespeare, bitches.
