Here’s a little touch-base nothing news about Sociosophy. Since I’ve started this blog, I’ve written on over 50 Web 2.0 sites, found some awesome stuff, found some not so awesome stuff…
But, it’s time for a little viewer feedback. What works? What doesn’t? What would you like to see? What’s lame? Just a quick bit of constructive criticism will go a long way… as I’m pretty open to changing stuff and fielding suggestions. Gimme, gimme some of your stuff via comments, contact, or catch me on Meebo, good times.
Here’s how Sociosophy is doing so far:
Start, October 8th, 2007
Unique Visitors: 1670
Page Views per Visit: 2.96
Avg Time on Site: 3:18
So, really, honestly? Thank you to everyone that reads Sociosophy, and really reads it. The Internet and it’s fun toys are not only part of this blog, but they’re also part of my living, and I love the web with all of it’s goodness… So, thank you for taking part in the exploration of it’s 2.0 with me, and feedback rules.
Cheers,
Enrique Gutierrez, Author

Sociosophy is growing, changing… and evolving. Soon it will be a 100 foot tall lizard with a craving for hairless sheep and kittens covered in pasta sauce! Until then, here are the fancy new stuffs that I’ve recently added, and why.
After just 20 days of being alive, I’ve began to lose track of what I reviewed, where I’ve signed up… Oh, Nelly! So… I’ve made a shopping list:
Review Index
The Review Index is the comprehensive list of all things Sociosophized… errr reviewed. It’s chronological, and will probably be expanded, but only after I make it into a WordPress plug-in.
Also, in case you want to get a hold of me, for whatever reason:
Contact Us
That’s right, a CONTACT FORM! I know, I know… I’m too kind.

The following is a list of new things done to make Sociosophy that much neater:
Polls (wp-polls) - After searching through a variety of plug-ins available for WordPress posts, WP-Polls was found to be the most robust, with the most amount of customization, and looks very clean out of the gate as well.
Meebo Me! - Geesee was ALMOST used, but without paying $14.95 - people would have had to put up with ADS?! Lots of lost respect for their efforts there. Also, it turns out that Geesee doesn’t present an intuitive way to alter the look and feel of their chat - perhaps that’s a feature for those who are willing to fork over the cash. So… MeeboMe is the winner.
Tumblr page - The review of Tumblr is coming soon. In the meantime, I’ve added my personal tumblog, and hope that you enjoy reading it.
Blog Roll Updated - Barcamp San Diego II is right on our heels. Also - Enrique Gutierrez ~ Photography has been updated to point to the site, not the blog - I realized I hadn’t updated that since… July? yikes! I need to get on that… so many things to say about my photography adventures.
